One Year Anniversary

We're finally getting back around to updating our blog. Our plan is to post more frequently now (once a week or so), so don't forget to keep checking back!

In November, Cambria and I had our first anniversary. Baby Jeffrey was coming up on his three month birthday, so we all decided to make it a family outing to the mountains. After school on Monday, November 17th, we drove up Diamond Fork Canyon behind Spanish Fork and camped across the river over a bridge. We spent the evening roasting marshmallows, playing the guitar, and reading journal entries from our first year of marriage and parenthood.

We camped next to the blazing fire and in the morning packed up for a hike up 5th water creek. After a 2-3 mile hike, we stopped at a nice hot-spring pool and spent an hour or so there. The water was the perfect temperature and Jeffrey especially liked the smell. We were happy to have returned to Diamond Fork Canyon since on the first camping trip there (October) we arrived with dead camera batteries.

Jeffrey was mesmerized by the hot fire!

Our brand new tent from Dad is awesome!

That turquoise water is hot.

He's a daddy's boy!
